13th annual Goal Mile in Malahide Castle a great success, raising €4,000

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell has expressed his sincere thanks to the over 250 participants who attended the GOAL Mile in Malahide on Christmas Morning, where €4,000 was raised to support the valuable work carried out by GOAL.

“The 13th annual GOAL Mile in Malahide Castle on Christmas morning was a great success. I would like to thank every person who attended and donated to support the great work that GOAL do with vulnerable communities throughout the world.

“Over €4,000 was raised at the annual GOAL Mile in Malahide Castle on Christmas morning thanks to the generosity of those who attended.

I would like to thank everybody, from the serious runners, to families and those out for a morning stroll, who came out to support the GOAL Mile in Malahide on Christmas Day. I would also like to thank everyone locally who assisted with the event and the staff in GOAL who were integral in helping with its organisation.

“Once again members of our local community have shown great support for the worthwhile work of GOAL.

“It is without doubt that the GOAL Mile will once again be ‘run’ on Christmas Day in 2020 and, if you have never taken part in the event, I would encourage you to mark it in your diary as it is a thoroughly enjoyable event in aid of a great cause.”
