“I am delighted that funding for these housing adaptation grants for Fingal County Council has increased by 23% from last year. Supporting more vulnerable members of our local communities must always remain a priority and I believe these housing adaptation grants are vital in achieving that.
“Ensuring older members of our communities and people who have a disability are provided with the supports they require is of the utmost importance, particularly in making sure their home is appropriately adapted for their health needs.
“I will continue to work with my Fine Gael colleagues, Minister Eoghan Murphy and Minister Damien English in the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government to ensure the housing needs of the older members of our community, and of every individual with a disability, are heard and acted upon by Government.”
