Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell has welcomed confirmation from the Department of Education and Skills that Skerries Educate Together National School is to receive 4 ASD classrooms.
“I am pleased with confirmation from the Department of Education and Skills that Skerries Educate Together National School is being provided with 4 ASD classrooms under the Department’s Additional Accommodation Programme.
“The provision of ASD classrooms to schools in Dublin Fingal is of the utmost importance in terms of ensuring our children have the supports they require during their time in education.
“Education is the best means through which to empower our young people and prepare them with the knowledge and skills they require.
“It is essential that our children receive their education in an environment which is conducive to their learning, and that we work to ensure they benefit to the greatest extent possible from the educational system.
“As the local Fine Gael TD in Dublin Fingal, I will work with my colleague, the Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh TD and his Department to ensure the needs of our schools are heard, understood and acted upon by Government.”
