Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell has welcomes news from the National Transport Authority that from December 1st the 41 Bus Service, connecting the city centre to the Airport and Swords will operate on a 24 hour basis.
“I am pleased with news from the National Transport Authority that the 41 Bus Service will operate on a 24 hour basis from December 1st.
“The 41 route travels between Lower Abbey Street and Swords Manor, also serving Dublin Airport. This is a vital link between the city, our Airport, and the fastest growing town in Ireland.
“I am pleased that the 41 is one of only two routes named by the CEO of the National Transport Authority, Anne Graham as being made into a 24 hour service when she appeared before the Oireachtas Transport Committee. The other such route being the No. 15.
“I understand that these routes, overnight will operate every 30 minutes.
“By making the No. 41 a 24 hour service, many people in our local community can benefit from overnight transport links.
“This will particularly benefit those who have to travel to or from work in the early hours.
“With the Airport served by the No. 41, this will be positive news for many Airport and Airline staff living in Swords.
“As the local Fine Gael TD in Dublin Fingal, I will continue to engage with the National Transport Authority to ensure our community in the North County receives the transport services it requires.”
