Bus service for residents of Knocksedan begins on January 23rd

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell, has welcomed confirmation from Dublin Bus that the 41x service will be extended to connect residents of Knocksedan with the city centre and UCD from January 23rd.

“I am pleased with confirmation from the CEO of Dublin Bus that the 41x route will begin to serve Knocksedan from Monday January 23rd.

“Once this service starts to serve the residents of Knocksedan in the coming weeks, the 41x route will have two buses serving the estate in the morning and a further two in the evening.

“In the mornings, the extended 41x route will depart from Knocksedan at 07.20 and 07.45 and travel to UCD via the city centre, while the evening services will depart UCD at 17.00 and 17.15 returning to Knocksedan. The extension of these four services to provide an important public transport connection for those commuting from Knocksedan for work or college.

“Once these services begin, I hope to further engage with Dublin bus and residents in Knocksedan to ensure the needs of those in the local community are adequately served and that all action is taken to continuously support residents in Swords, and across Dublin Fingal in relation to public transport links with the city centre.”
