“I am delighted that Snowflakes Autism Support has received €12,000 from the Department of Health National Lottery Grants. Providing organisations, such as Snowflakes Autism Support, with funding is of the utmost importance as they provide an as they provide vital support, health and information services in our locality. Through their hard-work, and their dedication to assisting those who need a helping hand, such health-related organisations make our communities a better place in which to live.
“Health groups and organisations have an important role to play in improving the quality of life in local communities in the North County, and across the country. I am pleased that the Department of Health has recognised the valuable work undertaken by Snowflakes Autism Support.
“I would urge both organisations that were unsuccessful in this round of National Lottery Grants, and other groups in Dublin Fingal who provide health-related services, to consider applying for funding under this programme when it reopens in January 2016.”
