Dublin Fingal TD and Fine Gael Climate Action Spokesperson, Alan Farrell TD, has said that this funding will make a profound difference to local sports clubs.
Deputy Farrell said, “This is a good day for many clubs across Dublin Fingal, today’s (Friday 6th August) funding announcement will make a significant difference to many clubs in our communities and allow them to grow and develop their clubs which are a cornerstone of the Fingal community.”
“This announcement refers to ‘Equipment Only’ applications, the Department received record numbers of applications in this year’s process, due to the high volume of applications made, applications which include capital projects will be announced in the coming months.”

- Portrane Athletic FC – €10,000
- Portmarnock Swim Team – €7,749
- Portmarnock Sub Aqua Club – €49,000
- Ring Commons Sports Centre – €30,000
- Rush Athletic FC – €28,389
- Rush Fight Academy – €24,257
- Skerries Hockey Club – €47,500
- Skerries Sailing Club – €12,500
- Swords Basketball Club – €8,478
- Corrstown Golf Club – €30,000
- Newbridge House Croquet Club – €10,595
