Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell, has congratulated Dr. James Reilly on his appointment as one of the 11 Taoiseach’s nominees to Seanad Éireann.
“I would like to congratulate Dr. Reilly on his appointment to Seanad Éireann by An Taoiseach. In the last general election, it was unfortunate that we were unable to deliver a second seat for Fine Gael in Dublin Fingal, and to have a second Government TD for our constituency. However, I am sure Dr. Reilly will be an effective member of Seanad Éireann and I wish him the best in his new role.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Reilly, and with all elected representatives from the North County, in the best interests of my constituents.
“I will continue to use my voice as the Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal to ensure the Government hears, and understands, the needs of the North County, especially in terms of health, housing, education and childcare.”
