Oxigen, the Green Bin Service provider for the four Dublin local authorities has lost a tendering process to Greyhound. While the changeover did cause some problems with post Christmas Green bins going uncollected, Greyhound have now rectified the problem and are already out in the community.
The company are also offering to take all clean plastic, as well as the usual Paper, Card & Tin. This will greatly reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
I believe that this is a very positive step towards ensuring that households can save considerable amounts on bin tags.
