Following a petition completed by almost 150 residents in the Feltrim area, Fingal County Council are to put out on public display documents relating to the closure of the laneway between Drynam Drive & Melrose, Kinsealy.
The laneway has been subject to controversy in the past when in 1999 the then Council sided against residents wishes in voting through a Local Area Plan containing the right of way. Following the completion of Drynam Hall in 2005, this right of way has attracted anti social elements who at times have caused damage to property.
This proposed closure was endorsed by Seargent Austin Cox of Malahide Garda Station.
