Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell is pleased that funding is being allocated to St. Brendan’s National School, Skerries for mechanical works under the Department of Education and Skills Emergency Works Programme.
“I am pleased with confirmation that St. Brendan’s National School in Skerries is to receive funding under the Department of Education and Skill’s Emergency Works Programme to carry out mechanical works on the school premises.
“Such works are vital in terms of ensuring our local schools have the resources necessary for their upkeep and maintenance of our local schools.
“It is vital that our children can receive their education in an environment which is conducive to their learning.
“The Emergency Works Programme provides vital funding and, as such, I am glad with the provision of aid under this programme to St. Brendan’s National School, Skerries.
“With the youngest population in the State, it is of the utmost importance that schools in Fingal are maintained to the highest possible standard to ensure each of our children can reap the greatest possible benefit from their time in education.
“As the local Fine Gael TD in Dublin Fingal, I will actively engage with the Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh TD and his Department to ensure the educational needs of the North County are heard, understood and acted upon.”
