Three Dublin Fingal schools receive funding for emergency works

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell, is pleased with the allocation of funding under the Emergency Works Scheme to St. Margaret’s National School, Skerries Educate Together National School, and Holmpatrick National School, Skerries.

“I am pleased that St. Margaret’s National School, Skerries ETNS, and Holmpatrick National School are to receive funding under the Emergency Works Scheme from the Department of Education and Skills.

“St. Margaret’s National School is being provided with funding to carry out mechanical works, the grant to Skerries ETNS will focus on improvements to the external environment of the school, while Holmpatrick National School is receiving funding to carry out roof repairs.

“I am glad that these schools are being provided with investment to carry out these essential works. The upkeep and maintenance of school buildings is of the utmost importance, particularly in terms of ensuring our children receive their education in an environment which is conducive to their learning.

“I will continue to use my voice as the Fine Gael TD in Dublin Fingal to ensure the needs and requirements of schools throughout the North County are heard by the Minister for Education and Skills, and his Department.”

Note:

The amount of funding allocated is not being released by the Department of Education and Skills, as to do so could prejudice the tendering process for individual projects.
