Two new classrooms for Holy Family Senior National School, Rivervalley

Fine Gael TD for Dublin Fingal, Alan Farrell, is pleased that the Department of Education and Skills has allocated funding to Holy Family Senior National School, Rivervalley, Swords for two new mainstream classrooms.

“I am delighted that funding is being allocated to Holy Family Senior National School in Rivervalley for two new mainstream classrooms. The provision of additional classrooms to schools throughout Dublin Fingal, and particularly in Malahide, Swords and their surrounding areas, is essential in order to cater for the demand for school places in the local community.

“With the youngest population in the State, there are great requirements for investment in educational infrastructure throughout the constituency, and I am pleased that the Department of Education and Skills recognise this.

“We must continue to invest in educational infrastructure in order to tackle the capacity issue which currently faces our schools and to ensure that our children receive the best education possible in an environment which is beneficial to their learning.

“I will continue to actively engage with the Department of Education and Skills in order to ensure the capacity issue in Dublin Fingal is tackled as a matter of priority and to support all schools throughout the North County in relation to their future development.”
